MSEA Summer Praxis Bootcamp

Prepare for Success with PRAXIS Summer All-Day Training!

Join our Summer Praxis Bootcamp to get ready for your exam with focused support and helpful strategies. This Praxis Bootcamp provides support to help you feel prepared and confident for your exam. We will review testing protocols, go over preparation strategies, and explore key content areas. Participants will also receive guidance on how to navigate the Praxis process from start to finish. The bootcamp will be offered on three separate dates: July 8, July 9, and July 10. Each session covers the same content, so you only need to attend one day. Please choose the date that works best for you and sign up for that day only.

Cancellation Policy
Meals will be provided as part of this event. Accurate meal counts must be confirmed in advance; therefore, participants who cancel after the deadline or fail to attend will be responsible for the cost of meals reserved on their behalf.

ALL cancellations must be made by June 23, 2026, to avoid penalties. This is the final deadline for cancellation without charge, and no exceptions will be made.

MSEA Summer Jumpstart is a three-day professional learning experience taking place July 8–10, 2026. This series is designed to support participants with practical strategies, resources, and collaboration opportunities to prepare for the upcoming school year.
 
Hotel Accommodation/Cancellation Policy
Double-occupancy hotel accommodations are provided at no cost for attendees. Participants who prefer a single room will be responsible for paying the difference in cost. If a single room is selected and the reservation is later canceled after the deadline, the full room rate will be charged.

Yes, You Can! Part I – Classroom Management (Central Maryland)

Location: 692 Maritime Blvd, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090 (Maritime Conference Center)
Day 1: Friday, July 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Day 2: Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Price: Free.

MSEA is pleased to offer Yes, You Can! Part 1- Classroom Management. This two-day workshop focuses on setting up your students and classes for success. We will examine why expressing our own “why” is important to establishing a solid community of learners, how to craft a practical, restorative approach to behavior and expectations, and provide real-world, next-day strategies for managing the issues that present themselves in today’s classrooms. Completion of all required activities for the workshop entitles certificated participants to apply for one MSDE Continuing Professional Development Credit applicable to re-licensing.

Be advised that you must notify us if you find you cannot attend, or you will be billed for associated event costs.
