The Women’s Concerns Committee Leadership Training is a year-long, cohort-based learning and development journey that supports educators as they gain understanding and experience in leadership and grow as leaders and activists in their local, state, and national associations.
The 2020 Minority Affairs Committee Leadership Cohort Training features leadership, coalition-building, and racial justice training grounded in diversity, inclusion and equity—providing critical knowledge and skills that will define each participant’s leadership journey as an anti-racist educator and change agent for dismantling racism in public education.

Choose from a number of workshops designed to help you feel confident as you start your job search. Sessions will cover resume building, interview tips, advice from first year teachers, and more. Discussions will be real, relevant, and helpful to all aspiring educators.
These workshops will provide the opportunity for you to learn about the current inequities in education and effective practices you can use to teach all types of learners. There will be four total sessions and participants can choose the two they wish to attend. This will be a members-only event.
