MSEA invites members to attend MSEA’s 2020-2021 Becoming a Trauma-Informed Educator series.
Becoming a Trauma-Informed Ambassador and Buffer will help educators make the mindset shift to becoming a consistent source of support for students experiencing trauma. The webinar focuses on the use of empathetic communication and restorative practices as a buffer for students experiencing trauma and in educators’ work as ambassadors for trauma-informed strategies with colleagues.
This is the third of MSEA’s four-part Becoming a Trauma-Informed Educator series and builds on the knowledge of ACES, brain science, and SEL explored in the first two webinars. Note: Modules 1 and 2 are not a pre-requisite for Module 3.
