The following statement can be attributed to Baltimore County fourth and fifth grade teacher and MSEA President Cheryl Bost:
“We appreciate Superintendent Choudhury’s service and his willingness to always have an open door for educators, his strong focus on the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future, and his data-driven decision-making to help our most challenged students and schools.
“As the Board works to replace him, we hope that the next superintendent will be deeply grounded in the Blueprint, maintain a laser focus on ending the educator shortages, and make sure there is a place for educator voices at the table. Our students deserve nothing less than an outstanding leader who is focused on providing opportunities and meeting the needs of all students.”
