MSEA’s Center for Education Policy and Practice (CEPP) and MSDE (Maryland State Department of Education) are here to help you with your National Board Certification (NBC) endeavors. We will be offering a National Board Certification Jump Start in-person seminar on September 20-21, 2024. This seminar supports participants working on the certification process and requirements using Jump Start tools and resources.
Please note: Friday and Saturday’s session will be live and in person/overnight.
This seminar helps focus participants working on the certification process and requirements while using tools and resources provided to support them.
Candidates will examine the requirements for Component 2: Differentiation in Instruction and Component 4: Effective and Reflective Practitioner. Candidates will also review standards and discover the three types of writing.
A brief overview of Components 1 and 3 will be shared during the general session. There will be ample opportunity to collaborate and gather the information needed to pursue certification. Registration closes on September 13, 2024, at 12:00 p.m.
Location:
Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Laurel
15101 Sweitzer Lane
Laurel, Maryland 20707
NOTE: This is a repeat of the sessions offered in July 2024; you may attend the September sessions that apply, understanding that the content is the same.
