MLTP/WLTP Cohort Member Recommendation

MLTP/WLTP Cohort Member Recommendation

MSEA’s Minority Leadership and Women’s Leadership Training Program (MLTP/WLTP) is a year-long, cohort-based professional development program that prepares early career educators, emerging leaders, and new union activists who identify as ethnic minorities and/or women/womxn to become powerful advocates for their students, their profession, and their Association. Participants will learn how racial, social, economic, and gender justice issues affect their school environments and learn strategies for organizing and activating members, parents, and community partners.

One of the primary methods used to identify future cohort members is the personal recommendation of program alumni, state and local leaders, other Association members, and MSEA staff. Please share the names and contact information of MSEA members (certificated, non-certificated, administrative, and higher ed) who you believe will greatly benefit from participating in this leadership development program. We will reference you directly when making contact with the recommended member.

Thank you for your help with identifying the diverse leaders who will one day go on to serve as the next generation of powerful and impactful Association leaders at the local, state, and national levels.
