MSEA Human and Civil Rights Grant Policy

Before beginning your application, please take a moment to review MSEA’s Human and Civil Rights Grant Policy document. It will assist you in assuring your proposed program, service, or activity meets the grant criteria and is properly aligned with the purpose of the grant. It can be found by clicking HERE.

DEADLINE: 5:00pm on October 25th of the school year for which the grant is being requested. Late or incomplete applications will NOT be considered.

Please complete this form to be considered for an MSEA Human and Civil Rights (HCR) Grant. Note: Only current MSEA members are eligible to apply. Applicants are required to provide their MSEA Member number. The MSEA Human and Civil Rights Committee will review applications and make recommendations to the MSEA Board of Directors for final approval. Please be sure to complete all required fields of the application.

Note: If you are applying on behalf of a local, approval by that local’s leader (or their designee) is required.
NOTE: The maximum grant amount is $1,000 per individual/local association.
Note: staff time and mileage are not considered allowable expenses.
Grant funds will only be paid to individual members or local associations. Grant funds are not paid to schools or school systems.
