ESP Lobby Night: Support Staff Fighting for Equity, Fairness, and Safety
We’re asking our elected leaders for:
- Transparency and accountability for public employee safety by expanding workplace safety and health protections
- A dedicated seat for education support staff on the State Board of Education
- A $25/hour minimum starting wage for all education support staff
MSEA ESP Lobby Day Schedule
Attend a short virtual training on Thursday, February 6 at 7 p.m. Zoom link posted soon. We’ll review the training on Monday, February 10.
Monday, February 10, 2025
4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: MSEA HQ opens for member arrival and food.
5:00 p.m. – 545 p.m.: Lobby training, review materials and build lobby teams.
5:45 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: Lobby teams leave MSEA HQ to meet with lawmakers.
Parking:
Parking is available across the street from the MSEA HQ in the Gorman Street Parking Garage, 150 Gorman St, Annapolis, MD 21401.
What to Wear:
Please wear your Union or ESP Bill of Rights shirt.
