By submitting this proposal, you are applying to lead a 30-minute elective session at the 2026 MSEA Summer Leadership Conference, scheduled for July 29, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
*Please note: Serving as an elective session presenter does not constitute registration for the conference.*
Each session will welcome approximately 30–40 attendees. The focus of the conference is to equip participants with the organizing and advocacy skills needed to strengthen their union and drive meaningful change at their worksites.
We aim to empower members to confidently bargain strong contracts, serve effectively as building representatives, and develop leadership skills that support impactful organizing in their schools, locals, and communities.
All presenters should be comfortable engaging adult learners and creating an interactive, supportive learning environment. In addition, presentations must reflect the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to ensure an inclusive and equitable experience for all participants.
