This workshop is designed for local leaders and members involved in membership recruitment, retention, and organizing efforts in their local. Prior to registering, all participants must secure approval from their local president to attend.

NOTE: Eligibility for a 2024-2025 membership grant from MSEA requires the local affiliate to send a minimum of one member to the workshop.

However, we strongly recommend that you have two members participate–both of whom are involved in membership recruitment, retention, and/or organizing in the local. Unified locals are encouraged to include certificated and non-certificated members on their team.

For participants who travel greater than 100 miles one way or before 7 a.m. to arrive by 8 a.m., MSEA will reimburse for hotel expense based on double occupancy when submitted with a receipt and appropriate MSEA expense voucher.

*MSEA pays the double rate only. If a member selects a single room it will be up to the member to pay the difference ($79.23).*

Please have your locals book lodging reservations (double occupancy) by February 7, 2025 by CLICKING HERE, or you can call the hotel to book at 443-577-2415, Monday – Thursday, 10AM – 4PM. Please ask for the MSEA Membership room block at the Hilton BWI Airport.

All housing options are given on a first come first served basis. Due to limited quantities, we cannot guarantee your selected option but will do our best to accommodate.

In order to qualify your local for the MSEA Membership grant, participants must be present for the entire duration of the training – No exceptions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Participants canceling after 02/21/2025 will be responsible for meal expenses and associated costs incurred by MSEA as a result of my cancellation or my being a no-show.
